Many people may not know but there was a second wizard of Oz movie. A very DARK wizard of Oz. Called Return to Oz and it was made by Disney. It came out back in 1985 and it had been a long time since I’ve seen it and all I remember about it back from my child hood how scary it was. Everything we knew about the previous story has been destroyed. The yellow brick road is torn up, the munchkin’s village nowhere to be seen and the emerald city has been decimated. Even the characters cowardly lion and the Tin man have been turned to stone. Now Dorothy has to fight a woman that removes her head and keeps a collection of them that she interchanges. These creepy stone faces follow her around and ... well just a how lot of what the hell moments. I found out it was acutely a compilation of stories from the original books but still wow. I found the movie on YouTube so if you are ever curious to see it be more then welcome to look it up. But just be prepared for a whole lot of WHAT! moments.
